Letters will be going out today to residents in the Jane Chapman East and Matthews Ridge Neighborhoods about some upcoming work session to discuss two topics that affects the residents in that area.
RE: Upcoming Meetings- Sewer Lateral Ordinance and Open Space Maintenance and Fencing
The Board of Supervisors will be discussing and considering two items that may be of interest to the residents in both Jane Chapman East and Matthews Ridge developments.
First, the Board has been discussing an ordinance for the inspection of sewer laterals either during resale or if a Township discovers an issue for infiltration to the sewer plant which can cause costly repairs. To view the draft sewer lateral inspection ordinance, please click here. We would like to hear from residents their thoughts or questions about this ordinance prior to consideration of adoption. This will take place at the Board of Supervisors Work Session Meeting on Monday, June 22 at 5PM at the Township Building.
The other item is the open space maintenance and fencing in Township owned property. We know this has been of interest to some residents in the neighborhood and the Township will be discussing the plans for maintaining the open space as well as plans for fencing or delineation of the open space from private properties. This will take place at the Board of Supervisors Work Session Meeting on Monday, July 27 at 5PM at the Township Building.
We hope you can attend these meetings to learn about these two topics. If you cannot attend, but have questions, please send questions or comments to Stacy Crandell, Township Manager at scrandell@wrightstownpa.org and we can make sure they are addressed at the meeting.
