Right to Know & Open Records

Right-To-Know Law

Act 3 of 2008 is Pennsylvania's new Right-To-Know Law. On December 15, 2008, the Wrightstown Township Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution No. 2008-062 that enacted the Right-to-Know Township Policy.  It establishes the procedure by which Wrightstown Township will address requests made to it for records under the Right-To-Know Law which took effect January 1, 2009. More information on the law can be found at the Commonwealth's Office of Open Records.

Right-to-Know Policy

The Wrightstown Township Right-to-Know Policy ensures compliance with Act 3, provides access to public records, preserves the integrity of Township records and minimizes the financial impact to the citizens requesting public records.

Requests for Records

Requests may be submitted in person, by mail, by e-mail, or by fax. All requests must be in writing on the Township's Record Request Form.
