Septic

Wrightstown is a rural Township which has no public water and sewer. All water service is provided by individual wells while sewer effluent is handled by on-site septic, sand mound or spray irrigation systems. Matthew Ridge and Jane Chapman East are serviced by sewer package plants, operated by the township. Residents in this area pay a quarterly fee for operation and maintenance of these plants.

To protect public health and insure the quality of water throughout the Township, Ordinance #283 requires that all septic systems in Wrightstown must be properly maintained. Your septic system must be inspected and pumped out at least every three (3) years.
