WRIGHTSTOWN TOWNSHIP BOARD OF SUPERVISORS WORK SESSION MEETING MINUTES August 28, 2002
The meeting was called to order by Chair Chester S. Pogonowski at 5:00 p.m. Present were Vice Chair Jane B. Magne and Member/Treasurer Allen
G. Masenheimer. Also in attendance was Eileen M. Bradley, Township Administrator.
First Federal Savings and Loan: Appearing for First Federal were Mr. Robert Scott, Sr. and Mr. Doug Tilley of Tilley Fire Systems,
Inc. First Federal was requesting that a residential automatic fire suppression system be installed at the bank in lieu of a commercial system. The proposed system would supply ten minutes of water in the
event of a fire.
Mr. Pogonowski said that the Board had granted only one exception to the ordinance. Another entity had recently gone before the Technical Review
Board.
Ms. Magne said that she did not like to make exceptions. The Township was complying with the ordinance in their pending addition/renovation
project.
Mr. Masenheimer added that he preferred that the decision go before the Technical Review Board, as they were better equipped and informed to render an
informed decision.
It was agreed that if First Federal wanted to request relief, they would be required to go before the Technical Review Board.
Wrightstown Planning Commission: Mr. Rob Lloyd of the Wrightstown Planning Commission appeared to discuss issues relating to the Planning
Commission.
Toll/Hibbs: There was brief deliberation on the Toll/Hibbs Conditional Use application.
Fall Road Inspection: Fall Road Inspection was tentatively scheduled for Saturday, October 12 at 8:00 am.
1111 Swamp Road: The residence at 1111 Swamp Road contained an unauthorized in-law suite. The Health Department would not enforce any
issues. Mr. Clemons’ office had drawn up an agreement outlining conditions to be maintained at the property. Due to time constraints, the Board of Supervisors approved the agreement.
Octagonal School Tax Exemption: The Township Administrator would make an appeal at the next Council Rock School District Board meeting on
September 19, 2002 for relief for the Tax Year 2002-2003.
Septic Maintenance Ordinance: Under pressure from DEP, the Board would work on a septic maintenance agreement.
There being no further business, Mr. Masenheimer made a motion, seconded by Ms. Magne, to adjourn the meeting at 7:50 p.m. All were in favor.
Respectfully Submitted,
Eileen M. Bradley
