WRIGHTSTOWN TOWNSHIP BOARD OF SUPERVISORS WORK SESSION MEETING MINUTES MAY 22, 2002
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Chester S. Pogonowski at 5:00 p.m. at the Township Office. Also in attendance were Vice Chair Jane B. Magne,
Member Allen G. Masenheimer and Administrator Eileen M. Bradley.
Mrs. Robin Hoy of the Environmental Advisory Council spoke about developing Community Supported Agriculture at the Hipple Farm. She was to get
information on association memberships, advertising charges, and work up a proposed budget for development.
Mr. Dan Klein of George Donovan Associates provided details on a proposed sprinkler system for the municipal building project. The entire project would
be presented at the June 26th Work Session, and would then go out to bid.
Lingohocken Fire Company wished to enter into financial agreements for the acquisition of two fire trucks. A public meeting would be scheduled on June
12, 2002 for Board approval.
Numerous repairs were needed at the Ranchhouse and Farmhouse. Ms. Bradley would research cost estimates for the repairs.
Ms. Bradley would review the current Fee Schedule Resolution for accuracy and cost-effectiveness, specifically, charges for hearings and Tax Collector
certifications.
Several complaints had been received regarding excessive noise. A copy of Buckingham Township’s Noise Ordinance had been acquired and would be
reviewed by the Board for future consideration.
As a response to traffic speed control complaints on Park Avenue, options to calm traffic were discussed. Speed humps could present a liability issue,
as well as slow down emergency response vehicles. Street painting would be a low cost alternative, leaving other options open for the future.
A drainage issue existed on a property on Buckman Drive. Ms. Bradley would research the cost of adding storm drains.
There being no further business or discussion, the meeting adjourned at 8:45 p.m.
Respectfully Submitted,
Eileen M. Bradley Township Administrator
